German Spitz puppies will cost between $400 - $700 (£300 - £500).
The average Food Cost is not much. The German Spitz do not seem to suffer from any digestive problems so will eat any type of dog food. It is best not to feed too high a protein food though as the dog can become hyperactive.

usually between $1000 and $2000 in the US, in Canada, they're like 2 or 3 thousand bucks in Canadian dollars!

My handsome, purebred German Mittel Spitz was in a municipal animal shelter. I adopted him as a 1 yr old. Check the online shelter websites.

If you were to sell her I would price her at $400-$600 if she had her pedigree and you throw in a few extras. If she were from a reputable breeder with show/working lines, genetic testing, etc then I would price her at around $1,200 as a pet quality - $1,500+ for show/work depending.

The German Spitz (Mittel) is a small compact long coated dog with a typical spitzy head and tail curled over the back.
Size Category - Small
Weight/Height Range - Ideally the German Spitz (Mittel) should measure between 30-38cms at the withers and weigh between 7 to 11kgs. Dogs are generally larger than bitches.
The German Spitz, being a very natural breed, tends to be very healthy. Breeders, however, should have all breeding stock eye tested. As with many small breeds there can be a problem with Patella Luxation.
