What can you say about Giant Maso Mastiff Dog Breed?

Chrissy: Giant Maso Mastiff?
I recently purchased a Giant Maso Mastiff puppy. I was wondering if anyone has one of these dogs or knows of anyone who has one. If you do have one do you love it or regret getting it? I'm not second-guessing getting this dog, I love her already, I just wanted another person's opinion on the breed or any type of mastiff in general.

Lovely breed!!! very important, in fact, 100% necessary to get this dog well socialized with other dogs and people while still a puppy. That way when the dog is 200lbs + you should not have any problems... they really are a fantastic breed in my experience!

Make sure the breeder cared about breeding. Mastiffs are generally smart, good-natured, but they need good strong chew toys, tree limbs, and horse balls are good. Always carry a towel with you and where your ugliest sweats that you don't mind getting drool on them.

They are the most loyal lovable largest lap dogs you can find. They are naturally protective of women and are good with children. Lead train them as early as possible, Otherwise, you need two leases to train them if they are too big, but it is possible.

I love mastiffs and honestly if you live anywhere where you do not trust people I would not own another breed. Because after my first mastiff I had was thirteen passed away I could not sleep for three months I had to get another mastiff and I love him just as much and I can sleep sounder at night knowing that one look from my big lovable poochy I know no one would be silly enough to break in our house.

a dog is a family member..who cares what others think..you will love her in your own way no matter what someone else thinks.. everyone's experience with a certain breed is different..don't get preconceived notions about what she might be like or not be like...go into it with an open heart and it will be great..if you are already having second thoughts then don't get the dog

I own a Mastiff and he's great. He's probably the most loyal dog I've ever owned. The only cons to owning a Mastiff is they are hard-headed, sensitive, and are expensive to feed. My dog was hard to train. Once you establish that you are master, it is easier.

They are very sensitive. If I'm in the yard working and get frustrated with something, he can sense it and won't come near me. I have to coax him over just to pet him. But he's a great family dog. I have a 2 mo. son and every time he cries, he's right there watching him very attentively. He also sleeps by his crib, as if he was protecting him. I wouldn't own another dog after having a Mastiff.

They are great pets, but you have to get used to their size. He likes to go between my legs, which is okay considering I'm 6'2", but when he does it to my wife who's 5'2" he lifts her off the ground.

They're great family pets, very loyal, affectionate, and surprisingly gentle. I also have 2 chihuahuas and they play non-stop and he never hurts them. Just make sure you have plenty of room for them to run and play because they need a lot of exercise.
