Does anyone know any unusual names for wolves?
The ones I've got are Dakota, Akaila, Saur, and Laika.
Got any ideas?

real or fake names?
a/ fake names
Naming your pets with the same name as your family members.
i.e. Indiana Jones took after his dog.
b/ real names
I had a friend that named his dogs "lunch" and "dinner" and, unfortunately, yes, the owner was Korean. And NO, he didn't eat 'em.
I only knew of one half breed wolf-dog in Santa Barbara. But he had a normal name… like tiger or something….

My aunt has three wolves, Sunny (all black), Tundra, and Trucker (mother and son). I always thought she did a nice job naming them.

Have a look at wolf rescue places/sanctuaries. Some of them have some pretty unique names along with their meanings, as well.

**Fairylov… there is no such thing as a pure wolf with blue eyes, hon.
