How much does a Miniature Pinscher shed?
I really want a Miniature Pinscher but I can't have it if it's shedding too much. If it only sheds a tiny bit then that's ok. How much do they shed?

The Min Pin is an average shedding dog. They are quite small though so as long as you groom them and vacuum your house at least once a week, it won't be a problem.

She won't shed A lot, plus she'll be small, so it shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure you brush her outside once a week and then whatever fur she loses in the house will be negligible.

The min Pin does shed but not a lot, grooming will help eliminate hairs from being in your house

Miniature Pinschers do not have double coats, so they don't shed quite as much. However, the amount of shedding that occurs is in direct relation to the quality of the diet. If you feed the dog crap, the dog will shed quite a bit more than the norm. If you feed a higher quality food, the dog will shed less.
The same applies to smell. A dog who is fed crap will be more prone to any kind of unpleasant odor, usually from skin issues or allergies.
That all being said, the type of coat and the smell should be two of the LAST things to consider when selecting a breed of dog. "Cute" is not a valid method of selection, and is the reason MInpin rescues are so overrun with owner surrenders.

Sounds like you need to do quite a bit of further research before even thinking of bringing a dog home.

They don't shed too badly. But if you wear white you will come away with some tiny black hairs on you. But I mean, compared to a lab or GSD they shed very little!

Miniature Pinschers actually shed quite a bit, however, their hair is so short you don't notice much. If you have light colored furniture, sheets, or wear light colored clothes, you'll want to rub him/her down with a wet towel daily to get most of the excess.
