Q: Do they make dog crates for Great Danes?
Does anyone know of a website where they have dog crates for Great Danes? I am getting one in about a week and want to crate train her but in a couple months she won't be able to move in the crates I am finding.

Walmart sometimes has the dane crates. Likely cheaper than many places online, and you won't have to pay for shipping.

I use a Giant Petsafe Pet Porter. Both of my full sized males love it. They take turns sleeping in it and I always lock the alpha male in it when people come to the house. My boys are 34" & 35" tall and the younger one weighs about 135, the older one 155. Both have room to go in, turn around, lie down, etc..
I did a Google search for "Giant Dog Crate".
I have seen one, at PetSmart that has a divider in it to allow for your puppy to grow into the full sized crate.
Expect to pay between $ 100 and $ 189 for a giant sized one.

Puppies only need to be crated in the beginning of their lives in your home because it's a new environment to them, and they have to feel safe. PetCo and PetSmart have some different options: crates that look like cages, crates that look like fenced-in pens, and gates to block off an area, like a kitchen, to keep a dog in by itself. Since Great Danes are big, even as puppies, when compared to breeds like Maltese or even Spaniels, I recommend gating them in the kitchen or keeping them in a bedroom with the door closed. The other crates would work, too, but as the dog grows, you're right, he or she might feel a little cramped and definitely won't have room to move around.

Midwest Homes for Pets Solutions Series 54" Double Door. You can buy it from Amazon (#ad) https://amzn.to/2QzWpHP, and it's Great Dane proof! I bought this for my Great Dane and if you have a Dane you know how houdini-like they try to be and don't want to be away from their people.
My Very Big guy lounges in this along with his cocker spaniel buddy and their toys!
It is a bit cumbersome, but as a senior citizen, I had no problem getting it together by myself.
It just took energy and thought.
I've seen cheaper crates that Danes have torn apart and gotten out of, but they can't do that to this one!

I believe they do, my friend has two Great Danes and they both have crates, you may have to look online to find one you like or special order one from your local pet store.
