Amanda: What breed of dog is in the Iams commercial?
The black and white short-haired dog in the old Iams commercial (the one where they're playing in the yard). I think the same type of dog was in the new Electrolux commercial with Kelly Ripa. Does anybody know what breed it is?
I know the border collie is on the bag... but the one in the commercial has short hair, are some short-haired? or is it just trimmed? I didn't think it was the same breed

I believe it's a border collie (probably mix) ..... I don't think I've seen the Electrolux commercial though.

I think the black, tan and white short-legged dog in the top commercial is a corgi, a Welsh breed. The Queen has Corgies but the tan colored ones.

It’s a corgi. My brother has 2, but with tails. The ones with tails are Cardigan Corgis. No tails are Pembroke Corgis and they come in lots of colors and combinations.

These two dogs resemble schnauzers. We had 1 just like the grayer one that does some of the jumpings.

The dog on the Electrolux commercial looks like a Canaan Dog.

There's a Border Collie in the Electrolux commercial. I cannot find the newest Iams commercial, however.
Yes, border collies can present either rough or smooth … think of the differences between the Collie.

Most likely a Boston Terrier.

I have been in search of an Iams commercial that featured an Irish Setter named Casey that grew old with her girl? It starts with Casey as a little puppy learning to climb the stairs, and at the end, the teenage girl is coaxing him up the stairs all grey and old, I was literally sob each time it came on,lol.. and everywhere I've looked I've seen many looking for it as well. apparently it was on here at one point but got yanked.
